Irony and Genre in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

A lover of comedy and music, I was instantly hooked by The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend​. The show, which follows a high-power New York lawyer who quits her job to move to West Covina, California to pursue her high school boyfriend, is a smart, well-written TV show that caught my attention with its social commentary and catchy songs.

For my senior english capstone project, I wrote, recorded, and edited a 12-minute video essay dissecting three of the songs from the show. I used Adobe Premiere to produce the video.
